Derek McLane has designed more than 300 theatrical productions for live television, Broadway, Off-Broadway, the West End, opera houses and regionally across the United States and around the world. McLane has served as production designer of “The Oscars” (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 telecasts), earning four consecutive Emmy nominations and winning in 2014. Other television credits include “The Sound of Music Live!,” “Peter Pan Live!” (Emmy nom.), “The Wiz Live!” (Emmy nom.) and "Hairspray Live!" (Emmy Award) for NBC. Select Broadway credits include: Moulin Rouge!, A Soldier's Play, Fully Committed, Noises Off, Gigi, Living On Love, Beautiful, The Heiress, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Best Man, Follies, Anything Goes (2011 Tony nom.), How to Succeed in Business…, Bengal Tiger in the Baghdad Zoo…., Million Dollar Quartet, Ragtime (2010 Tony nom.), 33 Variations (2009 Tony Award, Best Scenic Design), Grease, Little Women, The Pajama Game (2006 Tony nom.), I Am My Own Wife, The Women.
